In the curriculum of high school students, we’ve always been ranting about how they should be learning practical and literal things such as money management, time management, and the like. That is the reason why we here at Maximum Potential innovated and launched the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt Training and Certification for High School Students!
Launched first in Ohio in Graham High School, we at Maximum Potential were able to yield Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt High School Students after their graduation. Through this, high school students have been equipped with the right and the correct tools that they can use in problem-solving.
Project Improvement
The program we have for high school students will enable them to participate better and well in group-based projects. By teaching them the basics and the principles of both Lean and Six Sigma, their approach to certain problems and obstacles have changed dramatically. Lean Six Sigma uses two (2) frameworks or methodologies namely: DMAIC and DMADV – what they are and what they’re for is something we’ll discuss deeper but in a brief manner.
DMAIC
Through this process, DMAIC or (D) – Define; (M) – Measure; (A) – Analyze; (I) – Improve; and (C) –Control framework looks to improve an existing business process. By carefully defining what needs to be done and by measuring the impacts of how it is now, analyzing the effects of it, and improving it – there would really be reassuring success in the business process.
DMADV
On the other hand, the DMADV process, short for (D) – Define; (M) – Measure; (A) – Analyze; (D) –s Design; and (V) – Verify is used for the creation of newer products as well as new processes and other variations, too. Through this setting, a process undergoes the same initial steps, followed by the design and the verification of its authenticity and its effectiveness.
